legend - (noun) a story that cannot be proven, usually about a well known person, handed down by word of mouth.  Legends are loosely based on fact.  Paul Revere and Track Man are good examples.
legacy - (noun) what someone leaves behind that is not property or valuables.  It is more of an idea.  MLK’s legacy is racial equality.
myth - (noun) a traditional story that expresses the belief of a people usually involving Gods and heroes.  Myths are used to explain phenomenons of nature.  
lunging - (verb) moving forward quickly and suddenly
trolley - (noun) electrical or gas street cars
accurate - (adjective) on target; correct
infamous - (adjective) notorious; famous or well know for something BAD.
mirage - (noun) seeing something that is not there; hallucination
blemish - (noun) a bad mark; stain
finicky - (adjective) fussy; picky
