Run Santa Run 5K

~Congratulations to Asher, Seth, and Karl for all placing in the top 10 in their age group...There were 60 runners!  Ian R. set a new personal record form himself!  Two former runners from our Competitive group placed in the top ten also, Travis (5) and Ethan (1)...Way to go Sandpipers!

Merry Christmas Week!

 ~We had an awesome week!  From gingerbread houses with Mrs. Pickles, to Pickle Swap, to Holiday Song-a-long, to Stockings, to Luncheon, to making homemade cards...... we had a blast!  Thanks to all our awesome parents, volunteers, and especially the awesome kids in Rooms 16 & 18!

The Big Race

~Big thanks to everyone who helped raise money in our fundraiser...because we reached our goal Mrs. Manabat and Mr. Bryant had to race around the track on big tricycles!  Mrs. Manabat won!

Gingerbread Houses

~You can send in your gingerbread house supplies and stocking stuffers between now and next Friday the 15th!  The platters, gingerbread and stockings are all being provided by our elves Paul and Dolly!! here are some pics from Christmases past!

The End of Maniac Magee

~We finished our second Jerry Spinelli novel!  We learned a great deal about character transformation, theme, plot, dialogue, similes. metaphors, and figurative language.  Maniac was finally called home to the Beale's.  Marsbar/Snickers and Jeffrey finally became friends and Maniac food the family he has been looking for since he was orphaned at three!
