Hello Parents of Room 16,
This is Mr. Gibbons, your child's Homeroom teacher for the 2020-2021 School year! We are so excited to be back in school!
Here are a few helpful hints:
~Your child has to wear a mask on campus, in my classroom, and in the hallways! ~ NO EXCEPTIONS
~I have chosen to eat our lunch in the classroom EVERY day! If your child brings a lunch they will be allowed to warm up food that takes less than a minute in the microwave (only Mr. G operates the oven). Our lunchtime is 11:25-11:55.
~Your child will not be switching classes, the teachers (Gibbons/Montizano) will switch in order to minimize being exposed to germs.
~Your child will not leave Room 16 during the day unless it is to go to the restroom/recess/PE. All other resources will come to us.
~If you have not purchased class supplies yet, please contact me by text at (904) 309-3701 (my personal phone). There are few items on there that were added by the printer by mistake. You can contact me up until 9:00 regarding the opening of school, supplies, concerns, etc.

~over the next week, I will be asking all of your to join the app REMIND! This app will be used to send out school wide announcements, reminders, etc. I will generally send out 2-3 announcements a week on this app for quiz reminders, forms sent home and other pertinent information.
