They Came Bearing Gifts.....

~Palmer LaRue turned 9 today! He couldn't believe "they" came. His mother was quite annoyed by the group of boys who brought the most disgusting gifts! What kind od boys call themselves Mutto and Beans??? Palmer thought the gifts were awesome.... they meant he was now one of them. They even gave him a nickname...SNOTS! I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow! Tis is our final novel, and the last one in our Jerry Spinelli Author Study. It was kind of cool to see students recognize common author crafts, and themes within each novel. I wonder what Fishface did to deserve the bad treatment of the boys?
