~Julian got up early this morning. He felt like a soccer ball who been kicked too many times. He was sick. His mother called him to breakfast for the 100th and final time. Julian joyfully got out of bed and jumped down the stairs for a breakfast of toast and jelly. He gobbled down all of his monstrous meal. He raced out of the house like a mouse being chased by a cat. When he got to school, it was a zoo! The principal, vice-principal and Mrs. Whitelaw were all absent. The patrols were screaming at kids, and it felt like a zoo where all the cages had been left open. Mr. Gibbons walked into the hall and lifted JT off his feet and into the room to take a reading inventory. This was just the beginning of his day.
