Blackwater Swamp

~We finished another awesome novel, Blackwater Swamp! We drew some awesome conclusions, and met some really interesting characters. In the end, Bubba and Mrs. Weston went to jail, and Ted became friends with a woman who was judged on what she looked like. Hmmmm... I wonder what we will be reading next?

~A word of advice...do not lend Connor your recorder..... he likes to play with his nose!

~All Universal money is due Thursday!

~Tomorrow is an early release day!

~No school Friday for students!

~All Apes got an extra day, Word Study Test is Wednesday!

Talent Show Tryouts

~Thanks to all The Apes who tried out for the Talent Show. It takes a lot of guts to get up there and do anything.

Connections

~Was messing around in the yard today.... and noticed the same turtle does not run when I come near the shore of the lake. All the other turtles run, this one always stays. I noticed about a month ago. I got real close, he still does not run..... made me think of our novel Blackwater Swamp.
