Over ripened unpicked potatoes



~What happens when potatoes do not get picked on time?  The starch caramelizes and the starch reverts back to sugar.  You end up with something that tastes like candy!  We learned this from Janina, the little girl Misha Pilsudski met in Warsaw in 1939.
