Many of the Ape fifth graders helped the kindergarten students make Gingerbread Houses today. They were awesome. Yesterday, 10 Apes gave up their recess to help the second graders do the same. They rock!
Get well soon Mrs. Hartless!
The Chorus and Orff Ensemble gave an awesome Christmas Concert. We enjoyed it. It was a nice way to end 2008! Pictures will come later. Mr. Gibbons's camera battery went dead!
Derek shared his Hanukkah tradition with the class, and brought in gold coins and dreidels for our stockings! For an explanation on Hanukkah, click here. Hanukkah begins the 21st and ends the 28th. We appreciate all the cool facts from Eb and Derek Jeter. According to Derek, many think that Hanukkah is a big holiday in the Jewish faith, but that is only because it falls near Christmas. it is a minor Jewish holiday.
Mr. Gibbons is busy cooking!
