Maniac Magee

~We finished the first novel, Maniac Magee, as part of our literature circle and author study of Jerry Spinelli!  Most of us agreed this was an awesome novel with plenty of figurative language.  It really reinforced many of the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights., and helped us make connections to Esperanza in Esperanza Rising.
