Harry S. Truman

 ~Today we learned about President Harry S. Truman.  He was the President after FDR passed away.  He made the historical decision to drop two atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.  The purpose was to bring a speedy end to World War II.  Many historians believe this decision, even though it cost hundred of thousands of lives, it saved millions in preventing the invasion of Japan by American soldiers.
