~We finished Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick in record time! The sad news is that Kevin (Freak) died from complications of his disease. The good news is that he taught Max (Mighty) to be confident and stand on his own. What a great book! There were even a few tears at the end...even though most tried to cover them up..... we won't mention any names! The sequel, Max the Mighty is available at the public library
