~Can you believe we finished The Boy in the Striped Pajamas already? What a great book! The majority of us agreed that it was a great novel....but Milkweed was a little better. Bruno died in the end... he sneaked into the camp to help Shmuel find his father and got caught up in liquidation of one of the barracks. Their friendship in the end what made the book so special. We also discussed that this novel was definitely historical fiction; but it was also a fable. There were some great lessons......
