Last full day in Boston

~Last full day in Boston today...looking forward to the warm weather of Florida!  Went to visit my younger brother John... you have heard many of the stories involving John..... and went out to lunch with Ma and Pa Gibbons... my niece who is a freshmen at Montana State University joined us for the afternoon.  It was cold cold cold..... but the seafood was good good good!

Happy Boxing Day!

~Happy Boxing Day!  Traditionally, the 26th of December is Boxing Day in Ireland and England.  Many of the Irish and some of the English had to work in the homes of the rich landowners for Christmas day.  Upon leaving on Christmas night, some of the lucky servants would be given boxed gifts by their wealthy bosses.  The following day, the servants would have their own Christmas with their families, and open up their boxes.  Thus, the name Boxing Day!  We celebrated Boxing Day up here in Massachusetts by exchanging small gifts and eating leftovers.  Happy Boxing Day!

~Had a great Christmas Eve with the Gibbons family up in Massachusetts.  It is really cold here!  Having a blast up here but looking forward to getting back to WARMER weather!

Cold in Boston

Ma and Pa Gibbons

~Happy Birthday Mrs. Goodman!  Thanks for the awesome treats Mamacita and Mrs. Hunt!  We visited Queen Griffin's castle and learned how to do the Reindeer Tango with the kindergarteners!  She even had hair ribbons to match her pajamas on Pajama Day!

Pickle Swap

~Today we had our annual Pickle Swap! It is named in honor of Mrs. Pickles (Peck). We had a blast! We learned a lot about sportsmanship and having a sense of humor! We also learned not to judge thinks by their outside appearances. Bright packages do not always mean great gifts either!
