~We spent the morning learning some interesting facts about the Civil War. Ask your children what was the deadliest day in American history! We learned that Charley was left high and dry by Con Sullivan. We also learned that Charley will be allowed to join the Union Army...he just can't be a soldier. This was the deadliest war in American history...the enemy? us.

~We got to meet the manager of the Jacksonville Suns. The Suns are a minor league team for the Florida Marlins. He recited the poem "Casey at the Bat". He was great. We also met the mascot for the Suns.
Did you notice that Southpaw leaves Mrs. Hartless hanging in the video?? That was wrong! haha
~Congratulations to Jaliyah and Gary. They won the Guesstimation for the jelly beans! Thanks for putting those together Mrs. Wood! A special thanks to Jaliyah for sharing her prize with Nick who guessed the same amount but lost in a tie break. that is the Ape Way!
