~Congratulations to the Terriers of Boston University. This is the fifth time the Terriers have won the national title. BU is in the heart of Boston right on the Charles River. Many people confuse it with Boston College. Boston College, or BC, is a small private Catholic College. BU is a large college not affiliated with any church. It is the fifth largest private college in the U.S. Its most famous graduate would probably be The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King. He received his doctorate degree their in 1955. Boston University has also produced dozens of players for the National Hockey League. Their mascot is a dog, the small but fierce & loyal Boston Terrier, named Rhett. Mr. G. tried to play hockey as a kid but soon got interested in baseball and basketball! I still love to follow all the college hockey teams from Boston - Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern University, and Harvard. All four universities were less then 5 miles from my front door. Hockey was part of the culture!

2009 National Champions
~58 seconds left on the clock! Your team is down 3-1. You don't stand a chance of winning! Or do you? This was the case for the Terriers of Boston University on Saturday night. You could already see the opposing team celebrating! Down 3-1 with less than a minute to go, BU came back to win 4-3! Never quit! Never give up!
