Pizza, FCAT, Birthdays!

WINNERS AGAIN!
We rock! Mrs. Hartnett, our awesome media specialist announced that the Gibbon Apes have won another fund raising contest! This speaks volumes about the parents in Room 71! Big ups to Andrew and his Mom Cristy, they sold 39 tubs of dough. We sold 96 tubs of dough all together, the 73 Apes sold over 70! Therefore, they will enjoy pizza too!

Happy Birthday

~Friday is Derek Haberman's birthday! It is also Jamie's big day! We will have plenty of desserts and suprises on top of our Cookie Dough Contest winning pizza! Mrs. Zimlich rocks! Mrs. Walker also replenished our store supplies so we will open the store up next week! Seeing that the Z names are always last...tomorrow they shall be first! We will celebrate ALL the Ape birthdays with a party in honor of them, the Z's! Dylan Z. and Jamie Z.!

FCAT

~We took the actual FCAT test from two years ago! Mrs. peck and I scored every test! We received data to help us interpret the scores. We were blown away by the results! Not one APE scored a level 1! There were 6 APes that were one problem away from scoring a level 5! (the highest level) Almost every student went up a level or maintained their awesome score from last year! This test was only practice, and we are encourage them to work just as hard on the real test. Joshua actually went up two levels from last years, as did Eb! We are hoping we will feel this proud after the real test! We have prepared you well Apes! Now it is up to you!
