The rodeo was cancelled. I drove 23 miles to Beauclerc, and no rodeo. Oh well! On the bright side I stopped by a thrift shop on Philips Highway. I drive by it everyday (there's always someone waving a thrift shop sign) but never have time to stop. Well....today I stopped and bought a whole bunch of hard back kids books for next to nothing.....two bags full....(good ones). I heard a story behind the owner of this store. The story goes that he used to be homeless and now runs a thrift shop, employs homeless people, and donates a good chunk of the profits to his church and charities.
