End of Quarter Luncehon

~If your child has met his/her book goal of 28 books, and has maintained a positive account balance...then they are invited to the Third Quarter Luncheon!  There is NO cost to you or your child! Lunch will be provided by your child's teachers. We just ask that you send in a small dessert....
~If your child did not receive an invitation.... they have until 3:00 on Thursday to meet that goal!  Usually the reason for NO invitation is  they have either not met their book goal, or have a negative bank account.

CONNECTION SECTION: Death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt

~One of America's most beloved and popular Presidents of all time...FDR.  His death was a shock to the United States.  He led us through the Great Depression and to victory over the Axis Powers of Japan and Germany.

~I was so proud of all the APES today in our discussion of Franklin Roosevelt.  They have retained so much of what we learned earlier in the year abbot how this great man led a great country in a time of great turmoil.
