STAR Students

~Congratulations to Gabe and MyKayla! They are this week's STAR Students. They both work hard and follow the rules almost all of the time!

~A few former Apes, Julian, Dalton, Sarah, and Villa Villa came by today to say hello! It was awesome to see and hear that they are doing so well!

Reminders:

~Students that are not going to Universal on the 9th of June, must still pay for the Grade Five Picnic ($5) on the 8th!

~Any student that gets a referral between now and the date of the Universal trip, will not be allowed on End of Year trip.

~Please bring a lunch next Tuesday as we will be having guests (our Holocaust speakers) and it will interfere with our normal lunchtime, so we decided to have a picnic.

~Only you can control your reputation...... good or bad! If you hang with kids that get into trouble a lot...... you will be linked to them.... right or wrong...that is the way the world works!

~Today Mrs. Goodman decided to do a whole group science experiment with BIG bottles of soda, and multiple Mentos...to see if soda size and amount of Mentos made a difference! It did! Diet Coke made the biggest splash.... about ten to twelve Apes got soaked with DC!

Star Students 4/29 & 5/6 and Beauclerc Rocks!

~Congratulations to Natavia, Connor, Maggie, & Ahmed. They are this week's STAR Students! They have all worked hard and made working in Rooms 71 & 73 awesome and rewarding!

~Special thanks to the Beauclerc PTA, and especially the Ape parents for an awesome Teacher Appreciation Week. For the 12 years I taught outside of Beauclerc, I never even knew there was a Teacher Appreciation Week. This has been an awesome week from Diet Cokes, to candy, to flowers, gift cards, special notes from students and parents, basketballs, stepping stones, pork chops, burgers, luncheons, Hershey Bars, 3 Musketeers, and tons of other things to make us all feel appreciated! Thank You!

Great Fifth Grade Dance!

~Tonight was the annual Fifth Grade Dance. It was awesome! Big Thanks to the PTA for making this the best dance ever. I know everyone says things are the best ever...but this was! There were tons of Ape parents helping out with drinks, hot dogs, tickets, cleanup, setup etc...., and just having a good time! Beauclerc rocks!
