~Thank you to all the Safety Patrols who got here early every day and helped make Beauclerc a safe and sometimes quieter place! They will have a blast in Washington and we appreciate all that they have done for our school.

Kool Aid Pickle Friday

~We finally got to taste the Kool Aid pickles, a 4 year APE tradition, that were invented by Phyllis and Xavier over 75 years ago....... scroll down to read the true and incredible story of Earl and the Fruit Smack balloons to find out how these pickles came to be! Some loved the pickles, others thought they were gross! Mrs. West, our vice principal, loved them, as did Mrs. Pickles..... Mrs. Goodman thought they were quite disgusting!
another great face by Connah

Where is Mrs. Pickles? (I think Mrs. Goodman was puking hers up)

Class Auction

~We had a great time today during one of our last Ape Auctions! We still have a few items left to bid on! Hard to believe a box of moon pies went for $28 (Gabe) , and a DVD of Where the Red Fern Grows went for only $15 (Bailey Bean). We will get to see the other version of the movie some time next week. We will still have items for sale for those who have not closed out their accounts! It's amazing those students who have great citizenship ALL the time, still had lots of money to spend......hmmmmm... make the connection yet? (stole this pic from Pickles, left my camera at school)

Miss Clay County.......Miss Florida!

~We had a special visitor today... Miss Clay County 2011, Amanda Harris! She came to involve us in her community service project of making cards for sick kids in the hospital! She even sang for us...WOW! She is a former student of Mrs. Ross! We wish her luck in the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant!
Have you ever seen smiles this big on Connah or Travis?

Orff Ensemble

~Congratulations to the member of Orff Ensemble! We got to see them in their Spring Concert! They were awesome. Big thanks to Mrs. Laymon! Mrs. Laymon volunteered hundreds of hours this year to make this an awesome group of musicians! I hope the parent of the Apes appreciate what an incredibly talented and generous music teacher we have at Beauclerc.

Congratulations Girl Scouts!

~Congratulations to Ape Girl Scouts Janet, Bailey Bean, Aunty, and Fency! They became Cadettes tonight! Big thanks to Mrs. Gates for volunteering with these awesome Apes!

Getting our chickens on!

~Today we had Science with Mrs. Goodman AND Mrs. Wood. Mrs. Wood shared her incubator and chicks with the Apes today! This is the kind of Science Mr. G and Mrs. Goodman love! Thanks Mrs. Wood, we had a blast!!!!! We learned so much about eggs, embryos, chickens, and a whole bunch of other chicken stuff!

Evacuation Drill!

~Today we practiced our emergency evacuation drill. Now, we know where to go in the event of a major emergency, and how to act when when we get there
