Big thanks to Paul on the Wall for keeping an eye on us all this week!

Number the Stars
~We are learning so much about the world and the history of its people through literature! We are following Annemarie and Ellen as they struggle to make sense of the Nazi occupation of their country in the 1940's! They are learning first hand how ugly words eventually turn to ugly actions! We are focusing on plot and the elements of a good one!
Gingerbread Fun
~We had a blast with Mrs. Pickles making gingerbread houses! A big thank you to her for donating the platters, the gingerbread, and all the time and energy it took to put them together! We had a blast!
