A day in Boston.....................

~Went into Boston today to visit the New England Aquarium.......... after that,  toured the entire city on "duck boats"... these are WWII amphibious vehicles.  They drive on streets then drive straight into the river and operate as boats...... wicked cool.  The we had dinner in the North End (the Italian section) and stood in line for 35 minutes with hundreds of people to taste pastries made at Mikes Pastry Shop.  They tasted incredible...well worth the wait!

Scenes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine

Here are some pictures of my trip to Acadia National Park on mount Desert Island in Maine.  I climbed to the top of Cadillac Mountain, jogged around Eagle Lake, rode on a lobster boat, and ate more lobster and clams than a human should.  I hope that you all get to see Maine some time in your life...the place is beautiful!

~Spent a few days on Hermit Island in Casco Bay Maine.  There are over 365 island within the bay.  This one is unbelievable...... the deer are not afraid of humans.... There are huge boulders and rocks everywhere.  There are no houses on the island..... you can only camp there.
