Goodbye Gilly Hopkins
~We finished reading The Great Gilly Hopkins today! We finally met Gilly's mother and were shocked to find out that Gilly's grandmother actually had to pay Courtney to come visit her own daughter. Gilly is finally home...it may not be where she wanted to be, but it is where she needs to be. Good Luck in Virginia Gilly! Alsoby Katherine Patereson: Bridge to Terabithia

Gilly and "The Going"
~I can't believe we are almost done with Gilly Hopkins! What a ride we have gone on with her. We have seen her go from a foul mouthed foster child to a teary eyed mess hugging Maime Trotter. We have really watched her character develop into a caring responsible, although still foul mouthed, young lady. Will it work out with her grandmother? Will she meet her mother? Will she ever see Trotter and William Earnest again. Will she ever earn the true trust of Mr. Randolph? Was the letter she sent to Ms. Harris so strong that it will poison Ms. Harris against Gilly? We will find out next week!
Relaxing with a good book...Gilly Style!
~Welcome to Beauclerc to Ms. Stull. She is a student at UNF who is studying to become a teacher. She will be here again next week...and a few more weeks after that!STAR Students 10-19-12
~Congratulations to Zoe and Vick! They are this week's STAR Students! They both worked hard and got along with everyone....... they are both good examples of Gibbon and Goodman Apes!
