~Many groups began the experiment phase of their Science Fair projects.... or should I say testing their hypothesis. It was fun to watch! Mrs. Goodman has done an awesome job of preparing the APES for Science Fair..... maybe she is working too hard...she fell asleep while I tried to take her photo for OUR yearbook!

~We are really getting into Where the Red Fern Grows! We are applying all the skills and strategies we have learned all year into comprehending this story! Billy got his dogs and on his first day with them, he had to fight a group of bullies and face a mountain lion in the woods on his walk back to the Ozark foothills. His big dilemma now is getting a coon skin to train Ann and Dan! How will he get one?
